Hannah from Love Is Blind felt insane ‘pressure’ to look her best for reunion amid hate

‘Everyone was like, well let’s see if it’s a filter’

Hannah from Love Is Blind season seven has spoken out about her post-show transformation and the hate she received online after posting pictures and videos of herself before the reunion. She was quite the controversial figure on the show and many critiqued her treatment of her ex-fiancée Nick. However, as of recently, she has been overwhelmed by people’s reactions to her post-show look.

In an interview with US Weekly, Hannah explained that the pressure she felt to look her best wasn’t because Nick would be there, but she was instead thinking of the fans watching at home.

“I was nervous because I had no clue what to wear. I was shopping for months trying to figure out what to wear,” she said.

Hannah shared her official reunion pictures on Instagram with the caption: “Forget Halloween – there’s nothing scarier than seeing exes face off on national TV…”

Hannah looked absolutely stunning in a red slip dress but has still received criticism online. Since starring in Love Is Blind season seven, Hannah has been sent hate by people commenting on her weight on the show as well as her weight loss at the reunion.

“[In] the beginning when the show came [out], everyone was like, ‘well let’s see if it’s a filter. Let’s see if she looks different.’ Like, ‘I can’t wait to see her,’” Hannah told US Weekly. “What if I don’t look the same?” she recalled, “I put a lot of pressure into it.”

Hannah posted a transformation video of her in the show versus now, and people in the comments were debating whether she had photoshopped herself. After receiving all this backlash, she felt the heat to look her best at the reunion. “I had gotten a couple of other dresses and they just didn’t fit me right. I found that dress, and I was like, ‘ok, this looks great’” she said.

“It wasn’t a revenge dress like Ariana Madix. I was just like, ‘this looks good.'”

When it came to makeup, she told US Weekly that she brought a picture of Gigi Hadid and wanted “old Hollywood glam hair” and “nothing too crazy make-up wise.”

She was asked how she was handling the hate towards her transformation, and she explained that it’s something that “anyone who puts themselves on the internet” endures.

“You put yourself out there, and that’s what’s going to happen.”
