Who really is the richest One Direction member? All of their net worths, ranked

Those incomes really light up their world like nobody else

One Direction had me and every other teenage girl on the planet in a chokehold back the 2010s, and their time was much too short-lived in my opinion. But since splitting up, the five boys have managed to keep raking it in with their solo careers. So, who has actually made the most money since the end of the band once and for all? Here’s a ranking of the One Direction members’ net worths.

Zayn Malik – £36 million

Despite leaving the band in 2015 and breaking all of our hearts, Zayn’s hardly got a dent in his wallet. He’s worth £36 million from his time in One Direction and his solo music career which was actually huge back in the day.

He released Mind of Mine in 2016 and had some big hits like Dusk Til Dawn and Pillowtalk. He hasn’t been on tour due to his struggles with anxiety, and prefers to live a life out of the spotlight. He has recently returned to music and announced a tour, to which he was met with overwhelming support.

Louis Tomlinson – £44 million

Louis has a huge net worth of £44 million, most of which he accumulated from One Direction. After the band split, he released a few singles and appeared on The X Factor as a judge.

He seemed pretty content doing some random side quests after the band split up, but has since released two solo albums in 2020 and 2022. He’s been on two tours for the two albums, meaning he has spent a lot of time on the road.

He also bought his hometown football team, Doncaster Rovers F.C. while he was still in the band.

Liam Payne – £46 million

As one of the more controversial One Direction band members and current meme, Liam’s net worth is at a HUGE £46 million.

Like the other boys net worths, Liam’s fortune mainly comes from One Direction, and a solo album released in 2019. He also sold two of his homes in Malibu and Surrey, and is expected to make more with his new album which is expected to be announced soon. He hasn’t been on a big tour since his One Direction days.

Aside from music, he’s also modelled for many big companies like Hugo Boss, boosting his net worth significantly. These days, he seems to enjoy being a menace to society and visiting his ex band mates at their shows. Big love Liam!

Niall Horan – £53 million

Everyone’s favourite Irish man, Niall Horan, is worth £53 million due to his two insanely successful albums, Flicker in 2017 and Heartbreak Weather in 2020.

He was due to go on tour but unfortunately the pandemic prevented him from doing so. He’s since been on a huge tour over the past couple of years and seems to be going anywhere and everywhere.

He’s also made an appearance on The Voice as a judge and is rumoured to be earning $8 million per season. Crazy numbers!

Harry Styles – £100 MILLION

Harry Styles is of course the most successful member of the band. He’s released three albums as a solo artist and they’ve all been in a variation of genres. He’s had so much success from singles like Sign of the Times, Watermelon Sugar and As It Was. He’s also been on a crazy tour that seemed to last forever and earned him £25 million alone.

Aside from music, he’s starred in a few films such as Don’t Worry Darling, The Policeman and Dunkirk. His acting skills have been met with… mixed reviews.

How much was One Direction worth at its peak?

Even split between five, One Direction were absolutely RAKING it in back in the day, and their net worths were still extraordinary. The band made $457 million in just gross tour ticket sales in 2012-2013. They still take home around £3.2 million every year from One Direction royalties, despite being split up for over eight years now. It goes without saying that a reunion tour would probably triple all of their net worths, so you know what to do boys!
