Emma speaks out on how she really felt about Caspar’s weight comment on MAFS UK 2024
‘I was flabbergasted’
I think we’re all still processing the slightly shocking comments Caspar made about Emma in regards to her weight whilst they were on their MAFS UK 2024 honeymoon.
Now she’s finally spoken out about how she really felt about what he said. Emma appeared on an episode of the MAFS UK: It’s Official! With Chloe Burrows podcast, which aired last night.
During her time on the podcast, she talked about their wedding day and honeymoon, with host Chloe Burrows obviously asking her about *those* weight comments. Chloe asked her: “You did stand up for yourself to Caspar after he made a couple of comments, where do you get that confidence from and how can we be more Emma?”
Emma replied: “I think I’d done a lot of development towards the show, and I think everyone has self-confidence issues, I’ve never been skinny and I never will be skinny. Of course, going into this, I’d done a lot of mental preparation and I’d mentally prepared myself for a backlash about ‘she’s fat, she’s got a big nose’, right?”
She continued: “And I think I wasn’t quite expecting that to come from my husband. And I was just a bit shocked that I’d done all of this preparation and didn’t know who was going to be at the end of the aisle, I’m broadening my mindset to make sure I didn’t just judge a book by its cover and I was just flabbergasted that he hadn’t done that.
