All the evidence that proves Selena Gomez makes an Alex Russo cameo in Agatha All Along

Agatha All Along is finally nearly here – and I’m genuinely so excited. One of the only truly amazing things Marvel has ever done, and most of that was down to the iconic Kathryn Hahn stealing the show as Agatha Harkness. What a villain, what a character arc. The show is coming a bit late, imo – Disney should have got it out earlier. But the company built good hype with all the name changes and how it was made meta that Agatha was changing and interfering with the name. There is now an even better rumour though that has hype for Agatha All Along sky high – and that is that Selena Gomez will be making a surprise cameo crossover as Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place. Here’s all the evidence which proves this rumour might literally be true…

The rumour has actually been circulating since 2023, but this month has had further evidence to bolster it. Agatha All Along is seemingly exploring metaverse of witches from fiction, and there are rumours that a full episode is inspired by Wizards of Waverly Place. Since Marvel has been owned by Disney for a fair bit now, the crossover isn’t too far fetched – and a Selena Gomez reprisal as Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place would be so wild. Marvel is known for big cameos too.

A conversation on Twitter from January 2023 has done the rounds again, with an insider saying one of the biggest cameos in the show is “a Disney star who is still a popular artist”. Someone in the replies guesses Selena Gomez, and it would make so much sense for her to cameo in Agatha All Along.

Not only that, but Selena Gomez commented a fire emoji on a poster for Agatha All Along featuring Aubrey Plaza in the last few days.

It’s all very exciting.

I’d shrug it off if not for the fact Wizards of Waverly Place is actually returning with a sequel show titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. David Henrie will play the lead in it, returning as Justin Russo – but Selena Gomez will actually be a guest star in the pilot as his sister Alex Russo. It makes so much sense to me that a crossover with Agatha All Along would be a perfect way to promote both shows!

Excited beyond belief.
