‘You’re telling me what I want to hear’: All of Jasmine’s green flags on Love Is Blind UK

Love Is Blind UK has had its fair share of drama, love triangles and red flags, but if there’s one person who’s never failed to let me down on the show, it’s Jasmine. From the beginning, she spoke about her past relationships and opened herself up to love again, which she was able to find with Bobby. I have no doubt the pair will walk down the aisle at the end of the season and have a very happy marriage. However, it’s not just her own relationship that she slays in: She’s a HUGE girl’s girl, and always has her friends’ backs. Here’s a guide to all of her green flags on the show.

Opening up about her past relationships

Jasmine instantly introduced herself as a super lovely person with a really sad past relationship: She’d had a boyfriend that was expecting a baby with another woman, which just sounds horrible. The fact that she can speak so openly about her past is a great sign that she’s ready to move onto the future.

When she felt that she wasn’t connecting properly with Sam, she was instantly very clear about that to him. While it may have been painful for them both, it was one of those rip the band-aid off moments that was needed to avoid a huge fallout (Nicole could have probs taken some notes from this). She was even able to identify why the connection didn’t feel right to her, saying that Sam was  “telling me what I want to hear” and said that she “needs to give all her love to just one person.” Honestly, you can’t fault that.

It’s no secret that Ollie wasn’t a fan of being told off by Jasmine, but honestly, he needed to hear it. She stood up for her girl when Ollie wasn’t acting right, and although he wasn’t thrilled, it seemed like Demi and Ollie were able to move past it after it had all been put out in the open. Sometimes it’s best to just get it all out, and Jasmine showed us exactly how to do that.

Out of all the friendships on Love Is Blind UK, Jasmine and Demi have to be my favourites. She was there to pick up Demi when she went quiet because she was feeling down, and brought her back out of her shell. It was such a girl’s girl moment!

She’s always super communicative with Bobby

Jasmine has always been super clear about what she’s expected from Bobby, and how they can make their relationship work. She even gave him a warning when he was preparing to meet her mum for the first time, and explained how she would probably grill him to an insane extent. They went through exactly how they felt about their relationship so they were on the same page when the time came. Nonetheless, she loved him anyway and it wouldn’t change her mind about marrying him. Very mindful!

If you’ve watched the second part of the show, you might have some pretty mixed feelings about Jasmine’s mum, who seemed overbearing to say the least. She said that Jasmine has to share EVERYTHING about her and Bobby’s relationship with her, and even that he wasn’t good enough for her because he didn’t go to university and get a degree. Jasmine was very quick to be real with her mum and set that boundary between their relationship, which is such a green flag from her.
