Deadpool and Wolverine: The insanely long list of celebrity cameos
Ryan Reynolds’s wife and kids even featured in the film
Deadpool and Wolverine already set the scene for an action-packed storyline, but little did we know how many celebrity cameos we’d see in the cinema this weekend. Not only has the film brought in $444 million in the box office so far, but both old and new fans were ecstatic at these surprising character features, and the actors who played them.
Spoilers ahead – you’ve been warned!
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman – Deadpool and Wolverine
Of course these two beloved actors reprised their iconic roles for the movie. It seems they’re the best of friends behind the cameras too.
Also, Reynolds plays Nicepool, and Jackman plays Comic-accurate short Wolverine, Patch, Age of Apocalypse Wolverine, and Fever Dream Wolverine (strapped to the big X-cross). If you have no idea what I just said, go and watch the film.
Emma Corrin – Cassandra Nova

If you think you haven’t seen Emma Corrin before, you’re about to be proven extremely wrong: She has been in Lady Chatterley’s Lover, My Policeman (that movie you watched because Harry Styles was in it) and The Crown.
Matthew Macfayden – Mr. Paradox
Matthew Macfayden A.K.A. Mr. Darcy makes an appearance in the film as Mr. Paradox, a rogue agent who works for the TVA (Time Variance Authority) and is in charge of monitoring timelines within the Multiverse. He still looks as dashing as ever!
Rob Delaney – Peter
Of course, Rob Delaney came back to play Peter.
Morena Baccarin – Vanessa
Morena Baccarin returned to play Vanessa, Deadpool’s fiance. In this adorable Instagram post, she’s posing with everybody’s favourite dog!
Chris Evans – Johnny Storm aka Human Torch
The director said take five, but Chris Evans heard change lives. He was amazing in his role as Johnny Storm.
Dafne Keen – Laura (or X-23)
Dafne Keen stunned at the Deadpool premiere.
Jennifer Garner – Elektra
Jennifer did so well as Elektra!
Wesley Snipes – Blade
Wesley Snipes discussed his role in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. He was excited to play Blade once again, especially since he “didn’t think Marvel was into it.”
Channing Tatum – Gambit
I’m obsessed with this throwback pic of Channing Tatum!
Leslie Uggams – Blind Al
Leslie Uggams shared this sweet selfie on her Instagram feed last week.
Lewis Tan – Shatterstar
Lewis Tan too loves Dogpool!
Henry Cavill – The Cavillrine (aka Wolverine if he was Henry Cavill)
Was there even a budget for this film?! Henry Cavill surprised us all.
Jon Favreau – Happy Hogan
It feels like forever since Jon Favreau starred in No Way Home, so this is one I’m HAPPY to see. Get it?
Dania Ramirez – Callisto
Dania Ramirez slayed it.
Nathan Fillion – Headpool
Nathan Fillion played one of the Deadpool variants.
Matthew McConaughey – Cowboypool
This was a fun feature I wasn’t prepared for.
Wunmi Mosaku – B-15
Blake Lively – Lady Deadpool
After much speculation about whether Blake would be featured in the film, Blake Lively KILLED this role. You go Serena Van Der Woodsen!!
Blake and Ryan’s kids also feature in the film as Screaming Mutant (James), Kidpool (Inez), and Babypool (Olin)
And they are adorable. The couple are famously private with photos of their children, so buy some tickets if you want to see their fun cameo.
Peggy the Dog plays Dogpool
It’s Peggy’s world, we’re all just living in it.
