An expert shares who from Love Island 2024 will be most successful and whose career will flop

Harriett is heading for global domination

Straight after Love Island 2024, which ends very very soon, we’re all going to be hooked on which Islanders have the most successful careers. Are we looking at the next PLT ambassadors? Who is destined to have their own TV show?

It’s become almost a given that Islanders go on to big things. But, it’s either one extreme or the other: The cast become huge names and overnight millionaires, or we never hear of them again.

Speaking with SpinGenie, PR expert Lynn Carratt has spilled all on who she thinks will take over the world after the show and become a fully-fledged influencer or TV personality, as well as who doesn’t have the right recipe and is headed for career flops. Here’s what she had to say.

Ciaran and Nicole might win the show, but they won’t be the stars career-wise

Lynn has said what we’re all thinking: Ciaran and Nicole will probably win the show, but are they going to be millionaire influencers and people we keep up with forever? Probably not.

She said: “Ciaran and Nicole are in pole position to take the Love Island crown this year. They are one of a few couples who resisted temptation in Casa and decided to stick together, and they were voted most compatible by the public and Nicole also hailed the most viral phrases of the series.

“However, from a PR perspective, they’re not giving me brand appeal. Yes, they’re very nice, and they’ve got a solid relationship, but I don’t feel there is the charisma around them as a couple to become the overriding stars of the show.” Some may say savage, others would say very, very true.

Mimii could ‘get back with Ayo on the outside’ as she carves out ‘good career’ in TV and radio

Lynn has backed Mimii to be a powerhouse after the show, and predicts we’ll be seeing her bagging brand deals, radio and TV jobs. She also might get back with Ayo? Wild!

“Many viewers would like Mimii to take the crown. I still, like most of the viewers, think that she has feelings for Ayo and I think she likes Josh, but I don’t think they’ll go the whole distance when they leave and become a Love Island power couple,” Lynn said.

“I potentially see her getting back with Ayo on the outside, but I do feel she’s got a good career ahead of her in terms of TV/radio hosting and brand deals. I feel like she could follow in the footsteps of 2022 finalist Indiyah Polack.”

Harriett is the ‘new Olivia Attwood’ with potential for ‘big money deals’ with Ronnie

Everyone bow down, we have a new Posh and Becks with Harriett and Ronnie. “Harriett was TV gold, and I think she’s got the personality to start making inroads to be a huge PR winner of the show. She could be the new Olivia Attwood,” Lynn said.

“I think she’ll have a PrettyLittleThing or a Boohoo edit on the cards, and she’s still coupled up with Ronnie, who happens to be best friends with Bradley Dack, Olivia Attwood’s husband. So potentially, if they stay together, I believe they could get some big money deals.”

Hard agree from me!

Joey has already secured next job in LA and despite what people say, ‘hasn’t hurt his career’ with Love Island

It’s been a popular thought that Joey Essex has come across badly whilst in the Love Island villa, so may have damaged his career moving forward. But, the PR expert thinks differently, and actually said it was a “master stroke” to get him in the villa.

“Joey and Jessy have an interesting dynamic,” she said. “I admire how she stands up to him and isn’t afraid to tell him when he’s wrong. Despite the criticism he’s faced, I don’t think it has hurt his career. Joey knows what he is doing, he likes to stir the pot to create good TV. It’s clear that he knows what he is doing and his entrance was a master stroke from producers.”

According to reports, Joey has already secured his next job and is heading to LA to film an upcoming episode of Selling Sunset. Lynn added: “Whether Jessy and Joey or someone else is crowned the winner of Love Island, it doesn’t matter to Joey, he is unfazed by the prize money, as he’s already lined up his next job. Despite any public perception changes, it seems unlikely that his career will be negatively affected.”
