Drag Race’s Plane Jane responds after queen says she would have ‘knocked her out’
The season 16 drama is INSANE
The Plane Jane and Amanda Tori Meating drama flared up again at DragCon LA this weekend after a comment made by Amanda had Plane respond in the best way ever, after the two had feuded on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16. The two were part of a reunion taking place at DragCon which sees all the queens from the season back together to discuss the drama that happened on the show and what’s been going on since filming stopped and the season aired back at the start of 2024.
Loved Plane Jane’s response to Amanda saying she would’ve knocked her out (during the filming of season 16) if they weren’t in a professional setting. #DragRace #DragCon pic.twitter.com/wUjjbw75An

TS Madison asked Amanda Tori Meating “If we weren’t in this professional setting” and Amanda responded “Oh, I’d knock the bitch out.” The entire room and audience obviously were gagged.
Plane Jane took it in good form, though – and responded quickly with “I would never raise my hand against a trans woman. I would take the mandatory beating, honey.” Playing along with the pun in Amanda’s name, and referencing how Amanda Tori Meating came out as a trans woman whilst the season was airing.
The two had big drama on their Drag Race season with Amanda feeling like Plane Jane was constantly undermining and not valuing her drag. The two would also frequently spat on Twitter. A few months back, their relationship was still really strained and seemed volatile.
The DragCon LA drama here is quite lighthearted, as the two have no started to get each other and seemingly have a much better working relationship. Maybe they can be pals next!
