Here’s the full timeline of Jack breaking up with his ex and applying for MAFS Australia
Make it make sense
John Aikens has asked Jack the question on everyone’s minds which is what exactly was going on with him and his ex-girlfriend when he applied for MAFS Australia. The dates just don’t seem to add up, and how in advance of starting MAFS Australia had Jack ended the relationship with his ex?
So, from when applications to MAFS Australia opened to when filming started – here’s the full timeline of Jack breaking up with his ex.
Applications for MAFS Australia opened on 14th March 2023
And were open for roughly one month before they closed. That means Jack most likely applied sometime during March 2023 and has confirmed he was still with his ex.
Filming started at the end of July
Four months after initially applying Jack would have started filming in Sydney for MAFS Australia, or as he told his ex “moving to America for work opportunities.” At this point, Jack had broken up with his ex before MAFS Australia started filming, although not by a lot.
Jack says he broke up with his ex between six to nine weeks ago at the commitment ceremony
The commitment ceremony is filmed roughly just over one week into the experiment, which would mean that Jack broke up with his ex anywhere from the middle of June to the end of May depending on which answer of his was really correct.
And confirms he was in a relationship when he applied for the show
John asks “Just to be clear, you were seeing someone else while you were talking to us?” Jack simply responds “Yes.” Major tea.
