Not another one! MAFS UK’s Laura was also on Celebs Go Dating and dated Gary Lucy

Adding to what seems to be the never ending list of MAFS UK 2023 contestants that were on other reality TV shows, Laura from MAFS was previously on another dating show.

The 34-year-old from Surrey is appearing on the current season of Married At First Sight, but people might already recognise Laura from an appearance on Celebs Go Dating as recently as last year.

During the episode, Laura went on dates with none other than Laura Anderson’s baby daddy Gary Lucy and TOWIE star Pete Wicks.

Laura is not a stranger to men who got their start from reality TV as she revealed she had previously dated Angus from the 2019 cast of Made in Chelsea. Speaking about her reality TV past, Laura told The Sun: “I did Celebs Go Dating and I dated Angus in Made in Chelsea – I knew what it was all about.”

During the episode of Celebs Go Dating, Laura and Gary go on a date to an alpaca farm where Laura quizzes the former Hollyoaks actor on what he wants in a partner and whether he’d ever get married again.

In what could be seen as foreshadowing the birth of his fifth child with Love Island’s Laura Anderson, Gary said: “I’d have more kids. I’ve already gout four but I would have more kids. I’d have as many as I could. Listen, I make beautiful kids.”

Despite planning to go on holiday for their second date, a romance clearly never blossomed between the pair on Celebs Go Dating as Laura is now on Married At First Sight UK and coupled up with Arthur.

This comes after it was revealed, three other MAFS UK 2023 contestants had been on other reality dating shows previously, Georges and Brad on Celebs Go Dating as well and Peggy on Take Me Out.
