Yesterday it was announced that lecturers and other teaching staff at Edinburgh Uni and Heriott-Watt would be taking part in UCU strikes from 1 December to 3 December.

The teaching staff participating in the strikes won’t hold their usual classes and lectures on those days.

This industrial action is taking place in 58 UK universities, and is over issues with staff pension cuts, and pay and working conditions.

We asked you over on our Instagram how you felt about the strike announcement, and here’s what you had to say:
