Corp will start accepting card payments as of September

Students will now be able to pay by card when they are visiting Corp in the new academic year.

The news was announced through a statement by the Sheffield club on their Facebook page on Friday afternoon (7 September).

The club, which seemed to be the one place in the city that took cash-only payments, has finally given clubbers the ability for alternative means of payment.

Not only this, but Corp’s new card machines will allow clubbers to take advantage of contactless on top of chip and pin payment.

Cash will no longer have to be taken out in advance prior to the night ahead, nor will clubbers get charged endlessly for the use of the club's own cash machine, which is located inside the venue.

So, undoubtedly bound to empty your pockets even further, be prepared to spend even more on blue pints on your next visit to Corp in the new uni year.
