In an act of kindness, Tennent’s have been giving out free tinnies in the Meadows today. People donning Tennent’s T-shirts handed out cans to people on what is also the hottest day of the year so far. The distribution of the tinnies is part of their ‘Yes T Can’ campaign that coincides with Obama’s visit to Edinburgh. Thank you once again Obama.

They have been using famous Barack Obama look-a-like Barack No-Bama to help launch the campaign which has also featured large screens with the ‘Yes T Can’ slogan on both Princes Street and the Royal Mile.

Alan McGarrie, Head of UK Brand Marketing at Tennent’s told Edinburgh Spotlight: “When we heard Barack Obama was coming to town, we wanted to pull out all the stops and welcome him to Scotland. Obama is famous for his “Yes We Can” campaign line, and “Yes T Can” is a celebration of that.”
