Ah, here it is again. Valentine’s Day, rolling around every February with the inevitability of a pendulum swinging ever closer to our jugular veins. Time passes, we grow older, we celebrate another inevitable romantic holiday, we all get closer to our deaths at the hands of Trump’s nuclear winter.

Until then, unfortunately, you’re going to have to put up with lots of statuses today about celebrating a special day with “this one”, their best friend (strange how the people who say this never have any friends). You’re going to have to grudgingly like a lot of “I said yes” pictures and breakfast in bed pictures and lacy underwear pictures from people who don’t know what the word oversharing is. You’re going to have to put up with this, and not even grumble about how the rings are all cubic zirconia and their eggs benedict looks shit anyway.
