Piers Morgan should just give up and quit his job on Good Morning Britain. That’s what most of you think anyway.
Yesterday we asked you to vote on whether he should stay after his negative comments on last weekend’s Women’s March meant Ewan McGregor no-showed to an interview yesterday morning. The Trainspotting 2 actor said: “Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn’t realise Piers Morgan was host. Won’t go on with him after his comments on #WomensMarch.”
92 per cent of you think that Piers – who responded by calling McGregor a “paedophile loving hypocrite” in the Daily Mail – should stop being the smug cringe face we see every morning.
Nearly 1,300 people voted in the poll, and there’s absolutely no suggestion that those 1,300 people included his co-host Susanna Reid, who has gone in on him on Twitter since the weekend.
