Medics are about to get even more smug, as stats reveal they will earn £3,000 more a year than anyone else when they finish uni.

Thanks to their pushy parents, more than five years of studying will pay off with anyone studying medicine or dentistry getting paid £29,000 on average.

According to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), vets come in a close second with £26,000 – followed by engineers who earn £25,000.

Unfortunately for anyone studying a creative art course, you’ll only receive a salary of £16,500 on average.
