Why do girls dance on podiums?
Shake your money maker
We’ve all been in Echos on a Saturday night and witnessed the battle of the basics on the podiums in the white room.
Girls battle it out to be risen five inches above the rest and have their 30 seconds of fame.
Arms flying, booties popping, tiddies-a-bouncing, knees knocking, teeth grinding, elbows poking, until your drink is airborne and a pack of girls emerge from the shadows ready to conquer that wooden box of dreams.

Be warned you will face a myriad of difficulties while up on the sacred box:
The sweaty guy on his sport social, who will either try to knock you off or grind up on you.
The constant danger of your 2-4-1 Jagerbomb being knocked out of your hands.
The rival crew that try to infiltrate your stronghold, with hip bumps, elbow jabs, “can my friend just…”, and violent shoves off the pedestal of fame.
But once you find a spot on the podium its serious business. You have a responsibility to bust out your best dance moves and give it your all. You must work it to prove to the unworthy floor crawlers why you deserve your spot on the podium.

Standing in the limelight, your confidence levels sky high, your best gals by your side, feeling like Destiny’s Child, you see the admiration from the crowd. Girls want to be you. Guys want to be with you.
Girls love being on the podium to debut the dance moves they have been practicing all week; for their weekly dose of attention.
They can feel like Beyonce for a few minutes. Or for smaller girls, to find their gang they may have lost in the swarm of taller people.

Despite all obstacles we may face, we still soldier on, and the struggle continues to reign supreme on the podium of show-dium.
