Failed water main causing commotion.
Water, water everywhere and a bloody big hole in the car park.
A waterpipe underneath the Arts Tower car park has burst, flooding parts of the car park and turning off the hot water and heating in the surrounding buildings.
The area has now been closed off and students have been diverted through the back of Alfred Denny to get to the Union.
A water main belonging to Veolia has failed under the #artstower car park. Hot water & heating off in most buildings around Western Bank.

Whilst taking photos of the massive hole in the car park, Tab contributors were told to desist by fluorescent jackets.

There is a sinking feeling on campus that this situation isn’t going to clear up any time soon, although both Western Bank and the Arts Tower are still open.
