They’re at it again: lecturers call second day of strikes
It’s another day off for students as staff walk out over pay
Feckless lecturers are booking in a day of Christmas shopping for December 3 as they call a second day of strike action.
Having already gone on strike over pay once this term, uni staff are set to walk out next month if the current “pay row is not resolved”.

Last month’s strike fell on Halloween, so after the frightening strike comes the festive one as profs look forward to Crimbo.
Students, who were generally too drunk to notice last month’s strike, will enjoy yet another day off as staff call off lectures and tutorials.
Unison, Unite and the UCU will also be joined by Scottish education union, the EIS, for the action
