The Freshers have descended on Cambridge. While I’ve spotted a handful of 2k13 Leavers Hoodies, many of the newbies can actually dress pretty effectively and, what’s more, have yet to secrete the cynical exoskeletons that develop, spore-like, on older students.
Of the freshers I’ve encountered, all have seemed genuinely pumped to be photographed, ravenous for a cameo on the Tab and thrilled to be ‘yah-yerrp-in-my-first-year, wooooooo, not sure how it’ll go, waheyyyy’. Here are some of the best-dressed freshers – and non-freshers, as it happens – that I’ve run into in recent days. Thanks for being my muses.
