Hillary Clinton just said the race is ‘already done’

Democratic Party frontrunner Hillary Clinton will be the nominee, she has claimed in a new interview.

Speaking live on CNN, she just said: “I will be the nominee for my party. It’s already done in effect. There is no way that I won’t be.”

Rival Bernie Sanders, who is trailing in delegates, now faces increasing pressure to duck out, paving the way for a November showdown between Clinton and Donald Trump.

Bernie has promised to stay in the fight until the party convention in July.

This comes just two days after Bernie took Oregon, and he split the delegates with Clinton in Kentucky.
