
A man has been stabbed in a daylight attack today in Edinburgh
He sadly passed away at the scene
A man in his twenties has died after being stabbed to death in Edinburgh.
The tragic incident occurred at 1:50pm today on Johnson Terrace, which lies behind Edinburgh Castle in the centre of the city.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and the police are appealing for witnesses.
Officers remain at the scene, and both Johnston Terrance and King's Stables Road have been closed.
Police Scotland have issued a statement reassuring residents that they believe there is no ongoing risk to the public.
