20-year-old man died from drowning at Bournemouth beach, inquest hears

After last weeks discovery of a 20-year-old man's body on Bournemouth beach, an inquest has concluded the official cause of death was drowning.

Temogo Molebedi Ogone Ngwako, a Botswana-born resident of Kingswell Gardens, was reported missing from his home last Wednesday night.

He was pronounced dead by emergency services, who arrived on the scene at 5.53 am the next morning.

Police confirmed at a short hearing yesterday that there were no suspicious circumstances in regards to the case. Coroner's officer Ken McEwan revealed that the young man had been suffering with mental health issues prior to his death.
