GK Barry is being dragged for having OnlyFans model Bonnie Blue on her podcast – here’s why

The influencer GK Barry invited Bonnie Blue onto her podcast Saving Grace, and the people are not happy about it.

So, Bonnie Blue is that adult star who went on a Freshers’ Week tour of UK unis sleeping with as many students as possible for free as long as she could upload the footage to OnlyFans. She visited Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham, and claims to have slept with hundreds of students, professors and parents. This was pretty controversial, because many people thought it was essentially prostitution, and she was taking advantage of naive teenagers. People are pretty unimpressed that she was a guest on Saving Grace.

GK Barry brands herself as being very feminist and has spoken lots before about women respecting their bodies and the importance of authenticity. So, Bonnie Blue was a pretty surprising guest for Saving Grace.

TikTok users seem pretty angry with GK Barry in the comments of her videos.

“Grace, this episode is a disgrace to women and feminism as well as sex workers across the globe,” one person wrote.

Someone else wrote, “This is such a shame, Grace, not gonna listen to the pod anymore.”

Another added, “Noooo Grace. Why are we glamifying modern day prostitution? You’re so much better than this Grace.”

Many listeners got riled up about the way that the interview was handled. GK Barry didn’t really interrogate Bonnie Blue or challenge any of her opinions. She mostly just nodded along and laughed at her anecdotes. Some social media users felt that by asking about how Bonnie Blue got into her line of work, GK Barry was promoting prostitution.

One X user wrote, “GK Barry having Bonnie Blue on her pod and agreeing with the harmful sh*t she was saying is beyond disappointing. Do better babe.”

Someone commented on TikTok, “Spotlights what a poor interviewer Gk Barry is. Saying ‘fair’ or ‘* hell’ to shocking things and not being able to challenge at all. Why on earth are you giving her airtime?”

“We actually need to stop giving people a mic like for real! Grace never stands up to or challenges anything, just says ‘fair’ every 2 seconds, there’s hundreds of other decent podcasters out there,” another person wrote.

Bonnie Blue told The Tab, “Grace has a platform which allows people to share their stories. This doesn’t mean she’s for or against sex work or glamourising it. Grace’s interviews are light-hearted, so asking difficult questions isn’t her style nor the right questions for her podcast.

“The reason the podcast will be receiving hate is because it has a female target audience whereas mine is men.

“Women have a lot more time therefore have no problem wasting their time commenting hate and abusive comments across social platforms. Women dislike the things I have to say, but it’s because it hits close to home for them.”
