Orlando Bloom was spotted looking deeply confused while Katy Perry danced erotically during her 10-minute-long performance at the VMAs.

The crowd of celebs cheered on Katy Perry during the medley of her mega hits last night. However, Orlando Bloom’s reaction to his fiancée’s performance was a bit more, ahem, subdued. His reactions were at best confused, and at worst extremely awkward.

The climax of Katy’s performance was when she and the rapper Doechii performed part of their new song, I’m His, He’s Mine, which will feature on Katy’s upcoming album 143. Their performance was a little PG-13, to say the least. The singers twerked, acted as if they were about to kiss, and then flat-out scissored.

Later, the crowds practically went warm, wet and wild when Katy sang California Gurls. However, when the camera cut to Orlando Bloom, he wasn’t screaming or crying or throwing up. Instead, he nodded along to Californian Gurls with a perplexed expression on his face.

Orlando Bloom did appear to be more of a fan of the national anthem that is I Kissed A Girl (valid). He performed the pinnacle of dad dancing by shuffling from side to side, clapping and mouthing the words.
