Simone Biles claps back at haters who slammed her husband for wearing her gold medal in pic
She told the haters: ‘Y’all are so f***ing miserable. Leave us alone’
Simone Biles has a message to share to all the haters that are currently slamming her husband for wearing her medal in an Instagram post that celebrated her Olympics success.

In a pretty adorable post, her husband Johnathan Owens wrote: “Witnessing history every time you step on the mat. 😍🔥 Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful I was there to see it.”
However, the comments didn’t match the supportive energy Owens was putting out. Most of the fans were criticising the fact that he was wearing the medal and not her.
One user wrote: “Give the medal back bby that’s not yours.”
Another called out her husband: “That medal you’re holding belongs to Simone Biles, not yours my guy.”
The most liked comment on the post was: “Why he holding it like he won it.” Some pretty scathing reactions to what seemed to be a loving Instagram post.
What really sparked the controversy was this TikTok made by user Kiera Breaugh. She had a lot to say on the topic, and wasn’t impressed by Owens’s post. In the video, she criticised Owens for not being worthy of wearing the medal: “Take her medal off. Was it you Mr. Simone Biles who was flying through the air yesterday?”

Simone seemed to be over all of this drama. She left a comment on the video that read: “Crazy thing is, I put my medal on every single one of my family members and took pictures. So don’t ever make assumptions. 🙄 Like y’all are so f***ing miserable. Leave us alone.” By the sounds of it, she has had ENOUGH!

Kiera couldn’t argue with that, and the comments seemed to agree with her. In her response video, she basically fangirled over Simone’s comment and said that she wouldn’t criticise Simone’s choices. One user wrote: “The way I would love to be able to say I was told off by Simone Biles.” Fair enough babe!
