You won’t believe the shocking real life ages of the iconic Geek Girl cast on Netflix

Geek Girl has finally been made into a Netflix series, although some of the cast ages might take you by surprise. The show is based on the books of the same name, and if you were born around the early 200s there is a 90 per cent chance you would have read them growing up. Most likely imagining you would also be miraculously scouted to be a model whilst wandering around Tesco with your mum.

The series follows awkward high schooler Harriet Manners who is your typical introverted teenager who gets spotted by a London model agent during a field trip. There are a lot of familiar faces who appear in Geek Girl, some of which have been in some other iconic Netflix series, but what are the cast ages in real life? Let’s find out!

Emily Carey – Harriet Manners

Age: 21

Emily Carey plays the leading lady of Harriet Manners in Geek Girl and is living every girl’s dream of being scouted by a modelling agency whilst out and about. If you think she looks familiar she played Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon and despite only being 21 she’s already had an extremely successful career. What a queen.

Emmanuel Imani –  Wilbur Evans

Age: 33

33 year old Emmanuel Imani plays the role of Wilbur, who is Harriet’s agent and stylist. The Netflix show is his first major role since appearing in The Wheel of Time in 2021, but he’s also made appearances in Cobra, Riches and Black Earth Rising.

Liam Woodrum – Nick Park

Age: 21

Liam plays the romantic interest of Harriet and fellow model Nick, and compared to his other cast members has had a shorter acting career so far. His first acting role was in the 2023 Hallmark film Love in Zion National: A National Park Romance as well as appearing in a music video.

Daisy Jelley – Poppy Hepple-Cartwright

Age: 24

Daisy plays Poppy in Geek Girl who is Nick’s girlfriend and Harriet’s major rival, seeing her as a threat both professionally and in her relationship. Daisy is 24 years old and rose to fame through TikTok, where she has over one million followers. She appeared in her first film in 2023 called How to Have Sex, and in 2024 appeared in the hit Prime video series How to Date Billy Walsh.

Tim Downie-  Richard Manners

Age: 46

No Netflix show would be complete without a supportive but slightly clueless dad, and 46 year old Tim Downie plays the role of Richard Manners perfectly. He’s played some very notable roles such as Alex North in Doctors, as well as appearing in Outlander, Good Omens and Toast of London.

Jemima Rooper –  Annabel Manners

Age: 42

And Richard’s other half is played by 42 year old Jemima Rooper who is Harriet’s stepmother. She has appeared in some iconic British TV shows such as Death in Paradise, Father Brown, Silent Witness and the F Word.
