Badly In Love’s Hikaru breaks silence on her behaviour after receiving major backlash
'The show only captured a small part of those two weeks'
Hikaru has had loads of backlash for not being a girls’ girl on Badly In Love, and she’s now broken her silence on her behaviour. She’s blaming most of her season two actions on the edit by Netflix, in which she revealed: “The show only captured a small part of two weeks.”
She said: “It’s really sad to judge someone’s entire personality or send hateful comments solely based on what you see on the show. At the same time, I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who got to know me through the show and has continued to support me.
idk if it is already posted in here, but hikaru’s ig story yesterday:

“Thank you so, so much for all the kind messages. In the midst of all the negativity and hurtful comments, your support and kind words have truly helped me get through it. I may not be able to respond to everyone, but please know I’m reading every single message.
“I really hope I’ll get to meet all of you who have been supporting me someday. I love you,” Hikaru concluded on her Instagram Story. She was getting to know Ari on the show, but this led to major drama with co-star Maririn, and would often interrupt her chats with guys.

One person said, “Hikaru was so rude to Maririn when she caught her and Ari sitting together. Also, I feel she was trying to lure Tai-chan back by talking to him after he had lost interest in her and begun chasing Ruru.” Someone else said she took “zero accountability”.
Some people believe Hikaru was leading on several guys, while all of them were mad at Maririn for telling them they were good-looking, and nobody had her back. As Hikaru never stood up for the girls in the final edit, she’s been branded “not a girls’ girl”.
