Pfiefer reveals reason for all the bugs on Age of Attraction finale

There was a huge swarm of bugs on the Age of Attraction finale, and there’s actually a hilarious reason for it. Pfiefer has revealed she could be at fault for the flies, as she actually brought along a fart spray as a prank, before she reeled off a huge speech to Derrick.

She even made a video about it, shading Netflix for not buying bug spray for the finale. John and Theresa‘s section was the worst part, especially when cameras focused on him, and some people literally stopped watching the episode because they were so distracting.

There’s a thought that there were too many flowers up on the mountain, which attracted the bugs. But Pfiefer has now revealed the reason for the bugs. She wrote: “they were fake… i think it’s because the fart spray i brought as a prank spilled everywhere during my ceremony.”

Some people are relating to the area on the mountain, as it is known for its swarms of bugs. One person said, “I’ve been to that spot many times and it is seriously buggy in early summer 😂.” Even Derrick piped up and told Pfiefer: “Bugs didn’t want us to be great!”

John even made a joke about it, and edited a load of flies onto his face. Theresa, who John has since split from following a brief six-month relationship in the real world, even commented on them and wrote: “Damn those flies!” Seriously, how did they not swat them away?!

The bugs haven’t been addressed by production, but we do know that the finale was filmed at Brew Creek Centre, a secluded nature sanctuary surrounded by nature in Whistler, where the farm integrates bugs to help manage its indoor growing spaces and greenhouse.
