What the Summer House cast knew about Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s secret relationship
It started almost a month ago
Amanda Batula and West Wilson have now confirmed they’re in a relationship after weeks of speculation, so here’s what the Summer House cast did and didn’t actually know.
So, the rumours about Amanda Batula and West Wilson dating first started early last month. A celebrity gossip account, DeuxMoi, reported that they were seeing each other. This all came about two months after Amanda split from her husband of four years, Kyle Cooke.

Then yesterday, 31st March, Amanda and West finally confirmed everything with a joint statement on social media. They said they’d “seen the growing online speculation” and, although things are still really new, they wanted to clear things up. They added that it was “never our intention to purposely hide anything.” But they basically just needed a bit of space to figure things out privately first.
They explained, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows. And what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
They added that they wanted to take time to fully understand what they were feeling before saying anything publicly. At the same time, they acknowledged that the situation might have affected other people, saying they “never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
The Summer House cast was completely in the dark about it all
A source told Us Weekly, “This has been going on for at least a month and a half, but they kept it completely under wraps. No one had a clue, and the cast brushed off the rumours at first. The general consensus was that there was no way it could be true, but as time went on, neither of them denied it, and more evidence started to surface. It left everyone completely shocked.”
Before the news officially came out, another source claimed Amanda had been “hiding” the relationship from “everyone.” They said, “No one had confronted her yet. No one knew for sure yet, but the cast had suspicions. Kyle didn’t fully know what’s going on and didn’t want to believe it.”
And no one even knows how long it’s properly been going on. A third source said the cast “really don’t know the full extent” of the relationship. “They only found out recently, around the time the rumours started swirling. They still don’t know the full extent of the relationship. It’s all very new.”
Unsurprisingly, loads of cast members, including Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard and KJ Dillard, were pretty confused by the whole thing. Meanwhile, Southern Charm star Austen Kroll, who’s friends with a lot of them, even joked on Instagram, “Pasta and f*ck your friends exes are apparently so back.”
Ciara Miller, who’s actually Amanda’s best friend and dated West back in 2023, hasn’t said anything publicly yet, but her reaction has been loud.
