Meet all seven members of Simon Cowell’s snazzy new boyband and where they are now
Over 1,000 guys auditioned
Simon Cowell: The Next Act saw him put his big boss hat on and try to find seven new boyband members. It took over 1,000 people to audition before he decided to whittle the most talented ones into a singing group, and who knows, they could be the next One Direction.

Cruz is 19 and has been singing for over 10 years. He played a young Michael Jackson in Motown: The Musical and grew up listening to JLS. “I just love making people happy,” he shared at his audition. “I feel like that’s what I want to do for the rest of my life.”

Danny is 19 and had a singing voice so good that his aunt pointed it out when he was just eight. Apparently, his mum encouraged him to audition, and it definitely helped that his close friend Josh also auditioned – who may or may not have also made it into the boyband!

John, 17, is from Kent, where he’s been singing in a cathedral choir ever since he was young. He’s been to open mic nights and performed in several school concerts, and when he heard about Simon’s new boyband, he turned down Paddington: The Musical!

Josh is a 17-year-old boy who auditioned alongside his friend Danny in Liverpool. From Chorley, he’s only been singing for the past two years but used to sing in his bedroom all the time. He struggled when he arrived in Miami for the show, but is becoming more confident.
Nicolas

Nicolas, 16, is originally from Portugal and is simply the most smiley boy ever. Not all the judges wanted him on the boyband, despite him singing for eight years, but Simon particularly took a liking to him. Oh, and he once almost fell off the stage at Junior Eurovision!
Sean

Sean is 18 and originally from Ireland. He’s sang since he was only four years old, and by the age of 12, had secured a lead role and solos. The boyband member has double-jointed thumbs, so he’s really good at playing piano, and was encouraged to audition by his mum.

Simon’s new boyband, December 10, seem closer than ever already, and have done their first performance on stage together, where they sang their first cover, NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye. The music video has over 114K views and are expected to be working on an original track.
They recently all went out to celebrate Danny’s birthday at a restaurant and obviously, they’ve all hung out with the big boss, Simon. December 10 attended the Netflix show premiere together, but there’s been some controversy after they spoke against K-pop group BTS.
A member of December 10 recently said in a viral clip, “If BTS can sell Wembley Stadium in flipping 5 minutes, we can sell the flipping Pluto in five minutes.” This comes after they were already signed to Universal Music!
