Patrick introduced himself as a human design coach on Love Is Blind UK season two, and there’s loads of rumours the job is part of a cult. He often talks about feeling with his spleen, and to make things feel even weirder, apparently the context of human design gets strange.
Basically, human design is meant to encourage individuals to think and make decisions for themselves. If you type in on Google, ‘how to know you’re in a cult,’ it comes up with several different potential things, including many attributes of the human design world.
It aims to help you come into alignment with your true nature and is essentially a system combining astrology and different chakras to create a personalised blueprint to understand yourself. And while human design isn’t actually a cult, people think it has cult-like actions.
There’s people who say human design gives the potential for manipulation and cult-like behaviour within some communities, because it encourages coaches to help people present themselves as an authority, and try to leverage the system to influence others.
It will cost you £69 to set up a starter 30-minute call with Patrick, where the “reading reveals the real you, your strengths, energy, and purpose.” However, if you want a six-week Human Design for Health training and holistic wellness, you’ll be charged £899.
He often talks about his splenic intuition, which refers to the instinctive ‘knowing’ from this area of the body, acting as a body’s alarm system for detecting threats and opportunities, as the the spleen center is responsible for processing intuition and fear.
Everyone is comparing Patrick’s job to TikTokker Kendra, who fell in love with her psychologist, and how she spoke about human design being a cult. There’s rumours the Human Design Collective is a cult, after Kendra said it believes that your life is planned out.
The idea is that, apparently “more of us are going to wake up in 2027” and that animals will no longer obey humans, and so on. However, loads of people who have experienced human design are confirming that it is not a cult, saying it’s actually helped them.

A cult is an unusual, extreme, devotion to a person, idea or belief system, with a charismatic leader. Well, Ra Uru Hu is the man who developed human design after a mystical experience in 1987, and claimed he received information from “a voice” over eight days.
