This Drag Race star officiated her friend’s wedding and you’ll never guess what she wore!
Actually quite iconic
Have you ever seen someone officiate a friend’s wedding while dressed as the bride? Well, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Jimbo decided to do exactly that recently, when she read out the vows for her two male friends tying the knot. Iconic!
The All Stars season eight winner went to town, wearing a full face of drag, as well as a bouquet of white flowers, a white wedding dress, veil, and a giant silver necklace – yet it wasn’t quite her wedding day, she was just officiating the ceremony.
In true queen fashion, Jimbo got a photo with the two grooms kissing her on the cheeks, who were dressed in smart black suits and bow ties, along with the groomsman, at Hatley Castle. She then changed for the reception and wore a short white wig and beige dress.
All the bridesmaids wore black, who Jimbo got photos with, and of course she brought hilarious one-liners. During her speech, Jimbo spoke about the older generation clutching their pearls and even roasted some of the guests – in true Drag Race style!
As a result, some people are asking Jimbo to officiate their wedding when they get married. She reposted an Instagram Story that said: “I’m not really looking to get married… But if I did, Jimbo The Drag Clown officiating would be amazing.”
Even drag queen Valentina Vanity is asking Jimbo to marry her and her partner. And while loads of people mistook Jimbo for Real Housewives star Vicki Gunvalson, Jimbo is already married to Brady Taylor, who she’s been in a relationship with for four years.
They danced at their friends’ wedding, with Brady dressed as Joan Rivers, who calls himself the “man behind the clown.” As a producer, he often tours with Jimbo during Drag Race performances and says she “took over the drag world with her charisma and talent”.
