Kim Kardashian dragged for being ‘disappointed’ that her trip to India wasn’t like Aladdin
Who knew real life isn't like a Disney film?!
At this point it seems like Kim Kardashian is doing or saying something controversial on an almost daily basis, and her remarks about India are no exception.
She’s been called out once again for her behaviour hot off the back of her Met Gala behaviour, which if you missed she ended up snapping at a security guard who accidentally stepped on the back of her dress
And now she’s being rightly dragged for admitting that she felt “disappointed” that her trip to Mumbai wasn’t like how India was depicted in Disney’s Aladdin movie.
Back in July of last year, Kim and Khloé Kardashian attended the wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of the richest man in Asia.
During a recent episode of The Kardashians, the pair shared an insight into attending the wedding, with the trip very much not being what Kim had envisioned it to be.
Before the wedding celebration started, Kim and Khloé decided to explore the local era, explaining: “We’re only here for 48 hours, and we do have a schedule; we’re planning to go to some of the local markets before we have to go to the wedding so we can enjoy as much of India as possible.”
However, the sisters were told that they’d be walking from their hotel into the markets, with shots showing the Kardashian sisters being surrounded by people, stray dogs and rickshaws.
Kim asked: “Shouldn’t we just get a taxi?” before being alarmed by a star dog, exclaiming: “Oh! I don’t do random dogs!”
Khloé added that “at least there’s a Starbucks here.” Yikes.
They later admitted that they thought they’d be going to more of an exotic market, with Khloé confessing: “We thought we were going to more of a marketplace, like a spice market.”
Kim then also explained that she really thought that her trip to Mumbai was going to be similar to what she’d seen when she’d watched Aladdin, and who knew real life locations aren’t identical to fictional Disney films?!
