We’re only four months into 2025, but somehow The Kardashians have managed to make multiple 30-minute journeys on their private jets. Somehow, cars don’t seem as quick and easy to the likes of Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, and so we decided to delve deep into exactly which member of the family has used the most jet emissions so far this year.
Kim Kardashian has used the most private jet emissions
Kim Kardashian has her own private jet, obviously, which has used the most private jet emissions in the Kardashian clan this year. In the first two months of 2025, her private jet made four flights under 20 minutes. One of these trips was a 10-minute journey between Van Nuys and Camarillo, California, using 81 gallons of fuel and emitting one tonne of C02 – equivalent to a car’s usual six months of driving.
The world’s richest 1% had already used their share of carbon 10 days into 2025, with Kim as the third most miles of celebrities using their private jets, just under Elon Musk. Her Gulfstream G650 has gone on three journeys in the last three days, with one taking off from Van Nuys, and another leaving El Paso, Texas, which took just 18 minutes.

Kylie’s Bombardier Global 7500 jet, valued at $72 million, has flown 11 times since January 1 this year. By the time the Los Angeles wildfires happened, she’d made eight trips on her private jet. One of those journeys was a recent 30-minute trip to California just before Coachella, three years after a 17-minute trip she got loads of criticism for.
Her trip to California emitted three tonnes of CO2 emissions and 238 gallons of petrol, costing $1.3K in fuel while 722kg of jet fuel was used. This year, Kylie made a 15-minute flight on January 9, emitting one ton of CO2, while her trips have gone as far as California, Palm Springs, and international destinations like Luton in England.
