Debunked: Khloé Kardashian slammed for ‘water usage’ but it was her sisters’ doing
Khloé Kardashian is potentially the most outspoken of her family members on social media when it comes to the LA fires this January. The mom of two has been taking to her IG Stories and X account to share her thoughts, feelings, and ways for people to help as LA went into a state of emergency.
Given how close the Kardashians and Jenners live to where the California fires are still breaking out, many people having been calling on them to take action during the emergency. The family is continually being criticized – especially when figures of “water usage” are cropping up – but it doesn’t look like the stats are from this year, and they don’t reference Khloé Kardashian, either.
Khloé is slammed for ‘water usage’
After Khloé took to her socials to slam the Mayor of LA, Karen Bass, calling her “a joke,” lots of people retaliated online.
Many people called Khloé out for her comments and some called her a “hypocrite” because they believe she’s been overconsuming water during the fires.
However, the LA Times report people seem to be referring to in their tweets dates back to 2022 and doesn’t involve Khloé.
Details prove Khloé’s not involved
As Khloé receives backlash after her comments about LA’s Mayor, the details of the LA Times report don’t actually involve her.
The article reads: “Additionally, two properties listed under a trust that The Times has confirmed is associated with Kim Kardashian received notices: her Hidden Hills home and its adjacent lot, which together exceeded their June budget by about 232,000 gallons.
“Kourtney Kardashian’s 1.86-acre property in nearby Calabasas exceeded its June budget by about 101,000 gallons, the records show.”
Khloé isn’t mentioned in the 2022 report.
