Selling Sunset season 8 is officially arriving on September 6. Chrishell Stause, Bre Tiesi, Amanza Smith, Mary Fitzgerald, and co are all returning for the brand new episodes. The realtors face all kinds of challenges in their personal and private lives in season 8 but there’s one thing they all have in common – they all want to make as much commission as they can.
The Netflix show’s properties come with eyewatering price points. Episode 1 features a $38 million house. Whoever manages to sell the property will make over $1 million in commission. The jaw-dropping Selling Sunset mansion has Jason Oppenheim “wishing” he could buy it but even with all his cash and connections it appears out of reach.
Selling Sunset showcases $38m house
Boasting titanium floors, jade, and onyx stone throughout, the stunning mansion featured on Selling Sunset season 8 is described as the result of “James Bond and the Playboy Mansion had a baby.”
Jason Oppenheim says: “If I was going to buy a house, if I was a little bit wealthier, this would be it.”
Chrishell says the property is more like a “statement piece” than a home, telling the cameras: “It is you at the very top of Los Angeles, declaring ‘I have made it’.”
The star’s client, an architectural designer named Melanie, arrives to view the property which gives viewers a glimpse into the home’s hidden rooms, a stunning pool, and a bathtub positioned perfectly to take in the views of Los Angeles.
The home sprawls 13,000 square feet, has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, and is located on North Stanley Avenue in LA.
Jason Oppenheim’s net worth
Although Chrishell tells Jason the $34 million property “suits him,” he reveals he’s not “wealthy” enough to afford it.
Oppenheim Group president and founder Jason has a net worth of $50 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.
The real estate boss has made $3.5 billion in closed sales per his online bio.
As of last year, Jason was living in a 5,500-square-foot West Hollywood home which he “loved.”
In true Selling Sunset style, the home doesn’t come cheap. It was “listed for $18 million, making it the most expensive condo listing in Los Angeles in 2022,” reports People.
