Off Campus season two is filming, and we finally have an update on who’s actually returning

Season two of Amazon Prime’s Off Campus is well and truly underway, but not all cast members will be returning, and Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright will play different roles in the story.

Binged Off Campus in a day and ready for the second season? Well, we’ve finally got an update from cast members Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, who confirmed they’re already filming for the series’ second season.

But their involvement in the series will be much less than we saw in season one. Just like in the Off Campus book series, season two will focus on another couple – Allie and Dean.

“Sometimes you fall in love with a couple, and then you get their happily ever after, and you’re like, ‘What are they gonna do next season? I don’t wanna break them up. But I still wanna watch them.’ And we will,” book writer Louisa Levy said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“Hannah and Garrett are still in season 2. They’re still gonna be part of it, but their love story is not the thing that’s driving the season anymore.”

But she did confirm that Justin Kohl, played by Josh Heuston, won’t be returning for the second series.

“I love Josh, and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point. We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we’ll find a way to fold him into a future season. We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never,” she told Marie Claire.

The author also gave us a hint as to what to expect from season two – and guys, grab your tissues.

“I think they’re going to see some of their favourite moments that haven’t happened yet. There are some scenes they’re going to get teary-eyed over that are from the books. There’s a lot more to come; I don’t think that the whole story was already told.”
