*Warning: Spoilers ahead for American Horror Story season 13 episodes 9-10* The plot well and truly thickens in the latest American Horror Story season 13 episodes, forcing Mallory to confess to killing Michael Langdon and how this ties into the current storyline. But this doesn’t explain what happened to the other Antichrist. In episode 9, ‘The Devil Is In The Details’, Constance (Jessica Lange) makes a series of demands to Mr. Nas – including that he transform into his Paul Anthony Kelly form. She proposes being his Mistress of the Damned for all eternity, but there’s a jaw-dropping reason that could never work: he’s her father. Then, we catch up with Ben (Joey Pollari), who wants his 616 tramp stamp removed. If you’re wondering why it’s this marking instead of 666, apparently 616 appears as the number of the Beast in some early manuscripts of the Book of Revelation. The mark triggers a flashback to his childhood, with Ben remembering a horrifying Satanic ritual. And guess what? Paul Anthony Kelly’s Mr. Nas was there. When he starts digging into his mysterious patient, he discovers that Mr. Nas’ full name – Taylor Dorium Nas – is an anagram of “I’m your lord, Satan”. Things get even worse when Ben confronts Nas, confirming he’s the Devil. In episode 10, ‘The Prodigal Son’, we get another wild revelation: he’s actually Ben’s father, too. Yes, that makes Ben and Constance siblings. But what does any of this have to do with Michael Langdon? Credit: FX Just as Nas reveals to Ben, Papa Legba (Orlando Jones) reveals to the coven that God and Satan made a deal: if Satan could live as a human for 100 consecutive years, he’d gain control of Heaven, Hell and Earth. *gulp* Mr. Nas – aka Satan in human form – has been speeding up the process by sacrificing groups of 13 women, which allows him to age faster. And with 13 years still to go, he’s set his sights on the coven of 13 witches. But there’s another reason he wants them dead. Papa Legba explains that Satan is seeking revenge because one of the witches killed his Antichrist son, Michael Langdon. That’s when Mallory (Billie Lourd) finally comes clean about what happened in American Horror Story: Apocalypse. She travelled back in time and killed Michael, preventing the end of the world. Since she changed the timeline, the other witches never knew what she’d done. Here’s where things get even more confusing. In the final moments of Apocalypse, Timothy and Emily discover that their son, Devan Campbell, has murdered his babysitter. Satan’s followers then arrive at their home, mirroring Michael Langdon’s story and suggesting that Devan has become the replacement Antichrist. So, is Ben actually Devan Campbell? Credit: FX Annoyingly, there’s no confirmation. All we know is the Devil’s been spreading his proverbial seed all over the place. But after the release of American Horror Story season 13’s latest episodes, some fans have a theory that Ben is actually Devan. On Reddit, one person asked, “So is Ben actually Devan Campbell or did they just retcon him with no explanation?” Another replied, “Honestly I bet the satanists took him from his parents at the end of Apocalypse and renamed him.” Another said on X, “Well, we still don’t know Ben’s full story. I find it hard to believe Satan just picked a random six year old boy to be the next Anti-Christ. Anti-Christ are born, not hand chosen. I’m still sticking to my Ben = Baby Devan theory.” Not everyone is convinced, however, with some fans pointing out that Ben’s childhood doesn’t exactly match what we’ve seen of Devan. As one said, “In flashbacks we’ve seen Ben being raised by a cult of some kind (and Nas) rather than the three Crowley satanists or his parents.” So Ben is an Antichrist child but he’s still not Devan Campbell?? Why are they going out of their way to make things even MORE confusing 😭 Since the plot is already a mess anyway I hope they say Devan is actually aged up Mr Nas or something and that was his way on earth #AHS13 pic.twitter.com/ni2AAUYPxj — 1 (@Terrell8799) October 16, 2026 Another speculated, “They’re gonna say Devan died as a kid or something and another Antichrist child popped up instead of whatever.” What we know for certain is the whole thing has left viewers confused. “So Ben is an Antichrist child but he’s still not Devan Campbell?? Why are they going out of their way to make things even MORE confusing,” said one X user. “Since the plot is already a mess anyway I hope they say Devan is actually aged up Mr Nas or something and that was his way on earth.” Time will tell.
