Off Campus’ Ella Bright puts feud rumours to bed with take on Belmont Cameli’s girlfriend

She couldn't have made it any clearer

In case there was any doubt leftover about the rumours of a fallout between Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli’s girlfriend, Raina Morris, the Off Campus star has just fully put those to bed. 

Off Campus might have dropped nearly two months ago, but the show still has us in a chokehold, and with season two currently in production, there’s plenty to be excited about. 

In the meantime, fans have been busy keeping tabs on the cast, so much so that some even noticed Raina had unfollowed Ella on Instagram. 

For context, a certain corner of the Off Campus fandom has been shipping the stars in real life and harassing their real-life partners – the Prime Video show even issued a statement warning not to engage in “targeted harassment”. 

That includes Belmont and Ella, who play on-screen boyfriend-girlfriend Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells in the series. 

Age gap aside, Belmont has been with writer and actor Raina for at least the past year, but fans still started digging into her socials. When they noticed Raina had unfollowed Ella, assumptions were made that the pair were beefing. 

Raina herself shut these claims down last month, saying she’d unfollowed her by accident and that there’s no issue between the pair. 

Now, in a new interview with In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele, Ella had nothing but kind words for Raina. The topic of conversation came about when Thiele asked how she feels about people shipping her and Belmont. 

“It’s very funny. Honestly, I haven’t seen that much,” she said, adding that she thought from the press tour people were praising them for promoting Off Campus “as friends.”

“I get it. I totally get it. But it is so weird. I’m like, ‘No, that’s my brother,’” she added. “Also he has a perfect and beautiful, amazing girlfriend who is my angel on earth, guys. Fan girl about that.”

 

In short, no there’s no drama between the pair. Some viewers of the podcast noted the fact that Ella has been singing Raina’s praises. 

As one wrote, “The way Ella calls Bel her brother and keeps praising his girlfriend is really smart. It’s like she’s putting a full stop to any speculation or romantic scenarios people might imagine between them.”

Another said, “Incredibly humble, kind, and always smiling. Not an ounce of arrogance in her. Sweet to everyone, an absolute ray of sunshine.”
