Here’s why everyone thinks Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff are having relationship drama

The explanation making the rounds at first was pretty straightforward. Reports claimed Margaret couldn’t make the wedding because she was in Arkansas filming Jeff Nichols’ upcoming movie King Snake, while Jack attended because of his long-standing friendship and working relationship with Taylor Swift.

However, people on social media quickly pointed out that King Snake had reportedly wrapped filming last month, meaning it wouldn’t explain why Margaret missed the wedding on 3rd July.

Celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi claimed Margaret had actually been spotted in Woodstock, New York, on 2nd July, before later being seen in nearby Kingston on 4th July.

Margaret and Jack got married in August 2023, with Taylor Swift herself attending their wedding. There’s also plenty of recent evidence to suggest everything has been completely normal between them.

Earlier this year, Margaret spoke about Jack during an interview with Vanity Fair, saying: “I’ve always been very love-oriented. I’ve always been looking for my person, and I met Jack.”

She also publicly supported him back in March by posting photos from their wedding to promote Bleachers’ track “dirty wedding dress”.

Earlier this year, Jack’s ex-girlfriend Lena Dunham released her essay collection Fame Sick, which includes several essays reflecting on their relationship. The book sparked plenty of online discussion, although Antonoff never publicly commented on the speculation.

Despite all the online theories, there’s currently nothing to suggest the couple have actually split. Neither Margaret Qualley nor Jack Antonoff has publicly addressed why she wasn’t at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, and there has been no credible confirmation that there are any issues in their relationship.
