Raina Morris, the girlfriend of Off Campus actor Belmont Cameli, has addressed rumours of a beef between her and Belmont’s on-screen girlfriend, Ella Bright.

The Off Campus cast may be playing loved-up couples on our screens, but many of them are in relationships outside the series. One of these actors is Belmont Cameli, who plays Garrett Graham. Garrett’s love interest in both the book and adaptation is Hannah Wells, played by Ella Bright. In real life, he’s been dating TV writer Raina Morris for at least the past year.

Eagle-eyed Off Campus viewers noticed that Raina had unfollowed her boyfriend’s TV girlfriend and speculated about whether there was some secret tension behind the scenes. But Raina was quick to shut down these rumours – and she has screenshots.

She shared text messages between her and Ella Bright in which she apologised for unfollowing the actress.

“Omg I just accidentally unfollowed you on Instagram,” she said in the text screenshot. “Please disregard the follow.”

“Girl, I was ‘Omg… I hope TMZ doesn’t notice’,” she continued.

She then posted a separate Instagram story, saying: “Leave me and my homegirl alone.”

Ella Bright backed her up in the comments of the Instagram Story, reiterating how close the two apparently are.

“Please and thank you. That’s my best friend,” she said.

Still, some viewers are labelling Raina as insecure. A few are claiming the unfollowing was on purpose, while others are chastising her for feeling the need to prove it was a mistake so publicly. The whole back and forth took over online Off Campus discussion for the past week, but the actors involved have kept their distance from the mess.

“She’s creating unnecessary drama, and honestly, that kind of behaviour feels toxic. Huge red flag. In my honest opinion, I don’t think it happened accidentally,” one person on X said.

But another replied: “Fans, don’t create any unnecessary drama. Just enjoy Off Campus, enjoy HannahGarrett, and support Ella and Belmont. They are besties and colleagues, don’t make anything weird.”

Let’s keep the drama to the screens, please!
