Expertise

My expertise lies in the realms of politics. As an international relations student, I am constantly learning about world affairs, and how states interact with each other. I am also very up to date with pop culture. Making my expertise vital to explaining how politics is often in our every day media.

  • One of my most important achievements was getting into Glasgow University and studying International Relations. It proved that when I worked hard for something, I would be rewarded.
  • My second favourite achievement was deciding to write for my local university paper. This turned into multiple articles, and now roles as editorial staff.
  • My third favourite achievement was getting to volunteer at the Glasgow Food Bank. I believe it provides me with humble experience of crisis relief in ordinary circumstances, and allows me to remain determined to help be the change.

Experience

I have previously written articles for Glasgow Gaurdian, The Hillhead Review, Glasgow University Magazine and Qmunicate. I wrote a column for Qmunicate discussing the stereotypes of Protest, and challenged these statements from disruption to protesting in the winter. I have also interviewed several significant people including Patrick Harvie, during important periods of political uncertainty. Many of my articles are also on my substack.

Education

I studied at Harris Academy in Dundee, where I left with Two Advanced Highers at A B (Modern Studies & Drama) as well as Seven Highers including: Media (B), Politics (A), Modern Studies (A*), History (A), RMPS (A*), English (A), Drama (A).
