Expertise

I study Politics and International Relations, so this is something I am very passionate and knowledgeable about. I am especially interested in Asian politics, but have a general interest in Current Affairs. I am also particularly interested in popular culture.

  • I have always been ambitious and sought to push boundaries. In my Combined Cadet Force, I was the first female head of army section in my contingent's 120-year history.
  • I am very passionate about politics and more young people being involved in it. Following my A Levels, I won my sixth form's politics award for high achievement.
  • I love public speaking and forming arguments from research. I used to compete in public speaking competitions - at my last one I made the regional finals, proposing that all drugs should be legalised.

Experience

My writing experience is mostly in the form of public speaking and debate. Since around the age of 15, I have competed in public speaking competitions, making it to the regional finals of my most recent one. I also frequently write for my degree, with my assignments varying from standard essays, to short opinion pieces and blog posts.

Education

I am currently studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. Previously, I studied Politics, English Literature and History for my A Levels.
