I am a second year Liberal Arts student studying a History pathway, with a keen interest in the importance of protest, feminism and freedom of speech. I have ambition to pursue a career in journalism and my interests outside of academics lie in art, reading and travelling.

  • I trekked up to Annapurna Base Camp last year with a friend and it remains one of my proudest moments as I have never felt such a sense of achievement after a huge struggle.
  • During my time at sixth form I experienced huge amounts of upheaval at home and I am very proud that I was successful enough in my A-levels to be where I am today.
  • I first went solo travelling when I was 16 to do a language course in France and this is something I've continued to do, fostering my independence and love of travel.

Experience

I have previously worked as a production trainee for MET Film Production, shadowing a documentary producer and reviewing scripts, researching and attending screenings. I found the process of finding a story and transforming it into something concrete very meaningful.

Education

I am a second-year Liberal Arts student at University of Bristol, I study a variety of subjects including, History, Philosophy and English Literature. I studied French, English Literature and History A-levels.
