Expertise

Although I wouldn't call it expertise, I'd say I'm pretty knowledgeable about Victorian Literature and could ramble on about it for days. I could be an expert on Mary Shelley, though.

  • Attending Durham University to study English Literature after coming from a working class, underprivileged background where many people do not ascend to higher education.
  • Winning a prize for a poem I wrote about Katherine Howard for my A-Level coursework.
  • Not related to writing, but I'd say my black belt in kung fu is pretty cool.

Experience

I have written a few poems in the past, but nothing too academic or journalistic. The Tab is my first experience of this and I cannot wait to write more!

Education

State-schooled through and through! I don't really know what to say for this section, because my schooling wasn't anything special really. I am proud of my background!
