Expertise

I have expertise in screenwriting, from writing my own scripts, editing others, and having completed a screenwriting module. I have also been doing poetry workshops for two years where I have to submit a poem weekly and offer critical feedback to my peers.

  • Writing and directing my own short film in my first year of university with a twelve person crew.
  • Being a social secretary for filmmaking society and planning events for over 100 people. The most successful was a two day film festival followed by a ball.
  • Completing a half marathon in Manchester in 2 hours for which I trained for 5 months for. I have another half marathon coming up in December in which I hope to beat this time.

Experience

I have studied English Literature at A Level for which I was graded an A, as well as entering history essay competitions where I was awarded honourable mentions. At university I wrote and directed a short film called 'Strawberry Yogurt' as well as working as a script editor on other student projects.

Education

I attended Wycombe High School for five years, before going to Henley College for sixth form. I am now in my final year at the University of Manchester where I am studying Film Studies and English Literature.
