  • Hope is also deeply passionate about creative writing. In 2024, she participated in the Young Everyman Writer’s Programme, where she wrote a short play that was professionally staged in the Liverpool Everyman Theatre.

Experience

Although she has no formal journalistic experience, Hope has always had a passion for writing, from creative pieces to academically styled mini-essays on topics she loves. She joined The Liverpool Tab in 2025 during her second year at the University of Liverpool, aiming to share her voice more publicly and write on a wide range of topics, from pop culture to politics.

Education

Hope is a second-year English Literature student at the University of Liverpool, with an academic background that spans Kenya and Vienna. Now gaining journalistic experience through The Tab, she’s keen to approach storytelling with a multicultural lens, driven by a curiosity for global perspectives and an interest in the intersection of identity, culture, and student life.
