I have a natural skill for making interviewees feel comfortable when I am talking to them, and know that it is important to take away the pressure of an interview by treating it like a regular conversation. This is an environment that I strive for in all of my interview work.
In college, I was the Editor-in-Chief of my college's magazine, coordinating a team of 20 writers and social media specialists who were responsible for creating news and entertainment for a college with approximately 4000 students. I have been published by the English and Media Centre's eMagazine, which gave me a valuable insight into what it takes to work collaboratively in editing an academic article.
At A-Level, I studied English Language, English Literature, and Modern History. All three of these subjects prepared me for my current degree, English, at the University of Bristol, as they provided me with analytical and close reading skills which are necessary for my degree.
