Cody Ko returns to YouTube after five months and breaks silence on Tana Mongeau allegations
‘I don’t begrudge your judgement of me’
After five months of radio silence Cody Ko has returned to YouTube and has discussed not only his absence, but also about the allegations against him in regards to Tana Mongeau.
Tana Mongeau previously claimed on her Cancelled podcast that she had a sexual relationship with Cody Ko when he was 25 and she was 17. It came out during a discussion on which of her sexual partners had “the smallest d*ck”, to which Tana said “Cody Ko… I can say that, I was literally 17.”
Tana brought it up again on the podcast saying “This isn’t just some crazy tea. I hooked up with Cody Ko when I was 17 and he was 25. Yeah it happened. At 25 now … I would never do anything like that so I’m like, ‘What the f*ck was wrong with you?’”
After losing over 300,000 subscribers on his main channel, cancelling DJ events and stepping down from his role at TMG Studios, he’s back on YouTube.
The 21 minute video was posted on his side channel, Cody Trains, and he spent just two minutes discussing his absence and the allegations.
“Obviously, I understand I’ve been offline for months, haven’t made videos for that whole time,” Ko said. “I also understand if your opinion of me has potentially changed over the last few months.
“I spent the first half of my career criticising people and judging people online, so I don’t begrudge your judgement of me by any means.”

He continued: “I just think all I can do right now moving forward is just try to be the best person I can be for myself and for my family and just continue putting the best shit out there that I can.
“If you stick around to watch it, I very much appreciate it from the bottom of my heart, truly.”
